Description
When the system’s detectors identify a rise in temperature above normal levels, the presence of smoke particles, or a change in air quality, they immediately alert the Control Panel. The Control Panel then activates the suppression system.
Upon activation, a high-pressure solenoid valve is triggered, releasing HFC 227ea® gas from the cylinders through a flexible piping network to the nozzle. Simultaneously, an alarm sounds to warn personnel to evacuate the area as the extinguishing agent is dispersed throughout the room.
Firefighting Mechanism:
Heat Absorption (80%): HFC 227ea® primarily extinguishes fires by absorbing heat.
Chemical Action (20%): The remaining effectiveness comes from the direct chemical action of the fluorine radical on the flame’s chain reaction.
